Apple Keynote Sept 2009

On 8 September, there was a keynote by Apple which comes up with the new ipod line-up. This has been some sort of ‘tradition’ where the ipod line-up will refresh every the 9 month of the year. I, by the way, had watched the first Apple keynote in my life...yes,I’m a noob aint I?

To the surprised(or not) , Steve Job has back to action after medical issue where he stated that he undergone liver transplant. I don’t really know how he looks before, but he do look pretty skinny.

HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF BLOOD PRINCE

(i know this kinda slowpoke,still,wanna rite my review :P)
I went to watch this movie with my girl. I'm not too into harry potter but she was crazy about it, so we decide to watch it.

The sixth installment of Harry Potter series should be one of the darkest of all.because Sirius died,Dumbledore gonna die,death eaters wreak havoc.all awful thing gonna happen.

But I find this movie a little bit too relaxed and laid back.it have too much of romantic scene, as the characters are growing into teenager,and the hormones runs wild and etc.

I read in a newspaper that this is a 4-out-of-5 stars movie because even thought it is dark and lots of tension,the movie still controlled by scenes regarding of romantic,jealousy and hilarious.I couldn't agree more.this installment is very funny,I just laugh a lot through out the movie.

But to me,all the scenes just ruins the impression of this suppose to be a 'dark' movie.it just failed to fife that impression,to put the stress and tension of the main character to the viewers.to me,a movie which able to give that impression and success on being a dark movie is Fast and Furious 4. I love the character Dominic that Vin Diesel bring,he damn mad but he didn't go shouting and swearing and killing(like Bond in Quantum of Solace),he just scowled a lot.I love it.really cool,though he doesn't show his anger,u can feel it.

Apart from that,I feel that the movie doesn't have real subject to focus on,it's like the focus wondering throughout the movie.I just can't feel,who is the real subject,the true focus of the movie.it's like the focus is scattering everywhere.

Frankly I'm not much of a fan of Harry potter but easily I know,the Order of Phoenix is better than the latest installment.This is not a dark movie,its somewhat a mixed of serious and laid-back-comedy movie,and they dont blend well.which,supported by my girl too. it just really disappointing.

Video On Dean's Death

Ok,I watched Supernatural Season 3 episode 11-Mystery Spot.The story was there is a trickster,which can manipulate reality.He done it on Sam so that he will experience the same Tuesday over and over again,for hundred times.

What worse is that at the end of the day,Dean die.No matter what he done,Dean still dead,some only cause him to die earlier.When Dean dead,he will wake up,on the same day,and experience the same Tuesday.

The funny part is that the way Dean died.At first,it was dramatic,but when it comes to the third time,things get really hilarious.The way he died just getting more ridiculous.I laugh until tears drop from my eyes.Then my mom came and ask me,"u okay??" .lol

Kamen Rider Kabuto:Fin

Today,I finished the whole Kamen Rider Kabuto series.More than 5 month trying to finish all 49 episodes.Its really enjoying,the plot are great,strong and hilarious.Really enjoying.Just some riders are lack some spotlight,more like been abandon in the series.Thats what happen when you have too much character.But other than that,its great.

This is one of the show that portrait the main character as someone cocky,full of himself and very confident.I learn a lot from him.This kinda of stuff not only for the sake of entertainment,but some educate us on how to act,simply said that to show us the right attitude to have in urself.

The Suzurans Are Back

Crows Zero are back with its sequel,Crows Zero II .The movie was about a school,which is the hardest in town,where students are fighting each other and forming gangs to be the king of the hill.The spotlight are on Genji Takaya,son of a Yakuza group boss, who is a freshie,but have high dreams on conquering the school of crows,and succeeding his daddy.

Here the synopsis of the second entry:

The story is set about 8 months after the first movie. Genji is close to graduation at Suzuran High School, but one last matter must be settled with a rival school.

Genji (Shun Oguri) still hasn't quite managed to unify badass haven Suzuran High School under one leader due to a decisive loss to the mysterious Linda Man.

Unfortunately his goal of local domination must be put on hold when a long-standing truce with rival high school Housen Gakuen is suddenly broken. This is one of my favourite gangster-like movie.Its real,the fighting are not too hyperbolic,its emotional and also,funny.Its a must-watch movie.But the torrent arent out yet...shit...

Supernatural fever

Its Supernatural time!! lol.Actually, I just start watch the show in its 4th season because before that I dont really have the time,heck,I dont even know bout it.Before this,when it airing on TV3 during Sunday night,I cant watch as I was at hostel at that time.So,I just kinda missed it but I bump into the show again when I went to college,thanks to my friends doing all the hard work downloading it.

The show is really good,I mean,hey, its modern ghost-busting.Quite scarry but what really keeps me captivated was the actors,the main character.Its because Dean is Dean, and Sam being Sam,that what makes it interesting.Their different yet complement-each-other attitude keeps the show going,at the same time,hillarious too.It have all the element,scarry,creepy,funny,cool and hot(you know what I mean :P ).

Now downloading the season finale,while doing some homework by catching up the previous season.Thanks youtube,I owe you much.Now on season three episode 5.The best part is,in season 2 finale,the entry song was Kansas's Carry On My Way-ward Son catch my interest,ending up downloaded straight to my juxebox file.You can called it,sudden-fanatism.

Now,where is my episode 6.....

All-American Rejects anyone?

Yesterday,I finished downloading When World Goes Down album,the newest from All-American Rejects.I was their fan since their previous album,Move Along.Quite a good album,I would give around 70 percent plus as their mark.An alternative rock band with their own identity though they sound plain,just like other many bands.

Well,I would say their latest entry have gone worse.The getting a lot more mellow(maybe its trend,when your number of album increases,you get mellow-er, soft and slow.Linkin Park anyone?).Or maybe its just me,I always have this unfanciness with slow,mellow song.No,no Coldplay please.Apart from that,the instrument that they use kinda odd,I think got flute also,and another one which I know how it looks,but dont know the name,by listening to the sound it produced.Well,maybe they just use keyboard anyway.That does instill quite a little bit sense of uniqueness.

But still,they have their on identity in it,their own mark.So,it aint bad as its hard to keep the album as qenuine as theirs.So,it aint that really dissapointing.

Got good songs like their first single,Give You Hell.Thats song is fun,try the video.Its hillarious.Another one is Another Heart Calls,where there got girl sing along in the song,like a duet.Nicely fit in I would say.Two always better than one,like threesome..no,no,I mean like..like Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown's No Air and Evanescence's Bring Me To Life where they feat with Paul McCoy from Stone 17 if I'm not mistaken.Duets are good.

Angel and Demons

Couple of days ago,I went to watch the movie Angels and Demons,a movie based on Dan Brown's book,which I had read.He is my favourite author.I read the other book by him called Deception Point.Why I love his books? After read two of his books,I was captivated by the way he create a crisis.The way he invoke suspense and make me hold my breath when flipping to the next page.Apart from that, he serve fictions brilliantly,with some real facts backing it up,and you just gonna work that brain a little to get what he trying to say.A book which make me to think a little and in the end I got a little bit smarter,wiser.

Like in Deception Points,its more to biology stuff,while in Angels and Demons more on physics and little bit on religions.Lastly,I love the way he put twist to the plot,like the good guy at first might be a bad guy in the end,and he is really wicked in doing it.

Back to the movie,I was really,really eager on watching it,because I can see,how they gonna materialized the Illuminati ambigram.This is why film are sometimes more interesting as they are the physical forms of the imagination created by the author in his/her writing.

The film start off with an incident where a canister of anti-matter lost from a lab.For me,the head start was really jumpy,really sudden and abrupt.Maybe they trying to make it short as film only have 2 hours and plus to tell a story of hundred pages of writings.Then next scene was exposing the main character,Robert Langdon to the audience.Who he is also briefly explain to the audience,some may not know who he is,why he had Vatican's attention.

Then they meet the camerlengo and the Swiss guard's chief,which some alteration have been done there but logical as this is to make the story more simple and fit the time restriction.But,for me,the scene where the camerlengo was arguing with Ritcher was too brief,hardly can explain,can elaborate to the audience who he is,what kind of personality he is.Even after several scene at the Sistine Chapel also not enough.He is the antagonise for the movie,yet I saw him as just a simple,side-line character.Come on,he is the bad guy ok?If his personality isn't elaborate enough at the early part,then the twist at the end of the film wont be effective.It wont work,there will be no twist.Its like a chicken chop without the chicken itself.

Personally I like the camerlengo.I like how he become tainted by his own belief and obsession.Its like,that's how humans are.He know that sacrifice must be made to achieve certain goal.Yes.Its the reality,the truth,just the matter of how "big" the sacrifice is.Maybe its wrong,but thats what most of us had in mind when in need for solutions.Most film that I watched didn't support this philosophy apart from Watchmen.That is one odd,another-side-of-the-coin film.

Other than that,the anti-matter itself also briefly explain.My friend which joined me didnt even know what the hell is anti-matter when we walk out of the cinema.Different from the book version,the anti-matter play a big role in explaining how religions and science can coexist,can be comprehend together with repelling each other.I believe that is what this story is about.Its about the dilemma between science and religion,where science like day by day putting religion into unrelevantness by exposing that all the story they been telling was wrong, scientifically proven.Since the time of Galileo,but Galileo himself believe that both can coexist and understand each other,thats where the anti-matter comes in.

Victoria Vetra,who suppose to be the heroine but in the film,same with the camerlengo,just like a small,tiny meaningless character.Seriously,in the end Robert did have the chance to screw her.They more than just companion,more than just friends.I think that,their intimacy and compasion towards each other was important to be shown to the audience.

I know,film do have limitation like the time constrain,but I kinda disappointed because the message aint delivered very well.The story didnt meet it purpose in enlightening the audience on the issue raised

Anybody Heard of.....Tenacious D??

Couple of months ago, I watched a movie called Tenacious D:Pick of Destiny,cast by Jack Black,which is the main reason why I watched it because if there Jack Black in it,the movie must be really crazy and wacky.Hey,its Jack Black!! duh....

Well,to my surprised,the movie was some sort of musical movie,yes,just like High School Musical...just a little bit different...in a lot of way...

The movie start off with a scene where in a town call Kickapoo,there's a family which really nice and religious,but there one guy,the youngest son in the family,was the opposite of other members.He is rebellious and the most obvious characteristic is,he love rock music,which seems like a taboo to the family.The scene start in forms of a music video,with sound of music instrument and lyrics which describe the scene act by the casts.Really musical-like.I can ensure you,the song was damn good and hilarious too in sense of the lyrics.There was one part where a vocalist of Black Sabbath(one of the legendary rock band),Dio make an appearance and sing.Seriously,that 72-years-old-man still had his magic.His voice freaking awesome,unrivaled by any other human on this planet.I even download some of their songs after that lol.You could called it.....abrupt fanaticism.

There are a lot of other songs,as I can recall there were 7 songs,all are good,really good.Of course,all are rock songs,somehow it reminds me of the 80's kind of rock songs.Maybe in Malaysia sense,we could called Jack Black is a fan of "rock kapak".The movie was short,around 1 hour and plus,making it a very fast face movie.The best part is you wont get bored and rewatchability would be higher than usual.

Apart from that,Tenacious D was not a movie name,actually it is a name for a band formed by Jack Black and Kyle Gass,which also the main cast in the film.So,naturally all the songs in the movie can be downloaded(yeahhh).There are also other nice song like Tribute,which really,really good till give me some sort of goosebumps(I feel that when a song touch my...soul,I would say).Got a slow rock version and got a rock version,the rock one I saw in youtube where they perform with 2 guitarist(I don't know them because the camera ain't focusing on them)and a drummer,Dave Grohl.Yes.The vocalist of Foo Fighter and I think(because of his hairstyle) during that recording he still Nirvana's drummer,you know.....,Nirvana....,Kurt Cobian...,brain-blowing-thanks-to-the-shotgun stuff.If you download it,usually you would get the rock version.Seriously.Its a damn good.One of the best song I ever heard.

I also discovered,when they were still new,long before the movie appears,Jack Black was still...young..they were actually a television show.Every episode there will be a comedy-stuff,that,at the end of the show,there would be a song,related to the episode storyline.So,the they promoting their song one per episode.Nice advertising method...

So,try too look for the movie,torrent-ing,and listen to their song,maybe you would like it.Like me,I'm already a fan of a band called Tenacious D!!

I like Paramore??!!

Ok.So like the title suggest,i kinda surprised that i like paramore.Because my first impression is just a girl,singing rock song,like kelly clarkson,and stuff,so for me,its cliche,its repetitive.boring.(im referring to misery business)

Then,i discovered that they actually a band.Ok.Then thanks to my friend Muhaimin which always come to my room(at Penang Matriculation College) and play their song,this time its crushcrushcrush.Then i was like,wow,this song rocks.But still,i remain cool,still not captivated by Paramore,until i watched their live performance.It was so energetic,it was so..............rock.

For me, a band rock when they...rock during live show.

the vocalist sing with full emotion,with all his heart,communicate with the crowd while singing.he is "together" with the crowd while singing.he can make the crowd sing along,louder than his voice,loud,until put the speaker covered in shame.

the guitarist play according to the tempo,to the song's mood.swings his guitar when he needs too.jump,bang his head,swing his head until his hair(if he has)sway like a tree leaf,massive,furious but not overact.follow the song;s mood.

the drummer hit the drum hard,with all his heart,we can noticed it from his expression.varies their way of playing.make weird style of drumming,use only one hand for fast pace tempo or use two hands,two stick to hit a slow tempo,during the time gap make some crazy move.

the band put everything on the line while performing,like they gonna drop dead after the song ends.slipknot,godsmack,billy talent are some of those bands.and suprisingly,when i bought linkin parks's road to revolution live,i watch their live performances,and it dont give me the same impact as a 5-minutes-slipknot live show to me.....

Jizz In My Pants

I recently bump into a video,in youtube,entitle JIZZ IN MY PANTS.

So i though maybe its kinda candid camera recording of somebody jizz in his pants.So i click it and download it,that way its faster because it takes ages too wait youtube to completely buffer the video.

When i open the video,to my suprise, it was a music video.the title actually is a title for a song, and i can ensure you,the song is damn catcy,fun and good.sound like will.i.am stuff.really good video,nice presentation and the song is very good.Seriously,i think it would be able to compete in Grammy.Try watch it urself.
